Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Applications Programming Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Applications Programming Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. What You'll Do :
This position will join our national Programming Operations group, using GSelector to produce amazing content schedules for our radio stations.
You must live and breathe GSelector and learn our processes and systems, while being innovative and striving to make our stations the best.
In addition, you may be called on to assist with projects, helping stations and other Program Directors, and integrating national initiatives.
What You'll Need :
GSelector - obviously. Looking for someone who really knows the program and not just the surface
Programming theory, music research data, and playout system experience a must. NexGen / Zetta experience a plus.
Background in AC / Hot AC formats is helpful, but not required
Technically savvy, able to be a mentor / teacher to others, and work independently without extensive supervision.
