Our client is an outsourced accounting firm! They provide bookkeeping, accounting, tax and consulting services from their firm located in Doylestown, PA. Onsite and remote services are provided for a wide variety of clients with no particular focus on any one industry. What that means is that the staff is responsible for a variety of accounting tasks rather than just focusing on only one area of the whole accounting picture. It also means exposure to an assortment of clients which creates an awesome opportunity for learning and growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS:
This role will have a variety of responsibilities for multiple client engagements that include but are not limited to:
- Managing the accounting staff (a small team of 1-3 Accountants) responsible for G/L updates and maintenance, AP and AR management, month end reconciliations, etc.
- Training new staff/onboarding
- Preparing month end adjusting journal entries
- Monthly Financial Statement preparation and distribution
- Financial Statement Review and Analysis (Budget vs actuals, prior year comparisons, trends, etc.)
- Presenting clients with feedback and recommendations
- Cash flow forecasting and budgeting
- Audit assistance and other special projects as needed
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience
- 1 years of more of Supervisory experience
- CPA or MBA preferred but not required
- Experience using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online preferred
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Excel
- Ability to work with multiple clients/projects and manage deadlines simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and very detail oriented
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting not only with our staff but with your clients as well
