Lloyd Accounting is looking to expand their team with a controller in their Hiawatha office. We are looking for a detail-oriented, project-minded, forward-thinking individual that can provide value for our various clients and augment our current staff while working in mostly the construction and real estate industries.
Duties and Responsibilities may include:
- Preparing monthly financials including reconciliations
- AIA billings
- Accruals
- Prepaid calculations
- Depreciation
- Cash flow statements
- Preparing trial balances
- Budgeting and forecasting
- CAM reconciliations
- Sales tax filings and research
- Intercompany activity tracking
- 1099 preparation and filings
- Payroll processing including W-2 preparation and filings
A Qualified Candidate is:
- Experienced in the Real Estate and Construction industries
- Knowledgeable in the construction/real estate process including purchasing, financing, and construction.
- Able to work in multiple accounting software programs including QuickBooks and AppFolio.
- Professional in their communication with clients, including both written and verbal
- Works well independently with the ability to self-start and manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Likes a fast-paced and family-oriented culture
