Being an Accounting Clerk assists in completing moderately complex calculations using spreadsheets and other software tools. Reconciles accounts and bank statements. Additionally, Accounting Clerk has a basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. Experience:
- Previous experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Pharmacy or healthcare bookkeeping experience is beneficial, but not required
Skills:
- Experience with QuickBooks is a necessity
- Strong organizational skills and close attention to details
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
- Ability to prioritize tasks
