Graphic Design Supervisor supervises graphic designers on the completion of a variety of design projects. Consults with clients regarding project requirements, defines project scopes and design standards. Being a Graphic Design Supervisor advises on best practices for visual communication and provides technical expertise regarding graphic design software, layout, and color management. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Graphic Design Supervisor typically reports to a manager. The Graphic Design Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions.
