Requirements and Responsibilities

Real Estate Senior Manager manages an organization's real estate operations and activities to facilitate the buying, selling, or leasing of properties. Develops processes and policies to drive location planning, building or land acquisition, leasing, and disposition. Being a Real Estate Senior Manager coordinates construction, repairs, or maintenance of facilities including managing contractors, expenses, and scheduling. Assists with due diligence and new real estate purchases, managing lease activities, and overseeing disposition plans. Additionally, Real Estate Senior Manager ensures transaction paperwork and documentation are accurate, timely, and compliant with regulatory standards and requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Real Estate Senior Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Real Estate Senior Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.
