Requirements and Responsibilities

Photography Studio Manager manages all aspects of a photography studio. Establishes and modifies procedures to improve photo quality and efficiency. Being a Photography Studio Manager leads the development and marketing of new products. Ensures tech platforms and other studio operations run smoothly. Additionally, Photography Studio Manager recruits new photographers and develops onboarding and training practices. Ensures equipment is up-to-date and functional, and tests and trains employees on new equipment. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Photography Studio Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Photography Studio Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
