Requirements and Responsibilities

Marketing Communications Specialist V coordinates marketing communication strategies to promote a company's brand, products, or services to its target audience. Plans and ensures consistent themes, messaging, and branding throughout all advertising, social media, and promotional communications. Being a Marketing Communications Specialist V supports the planning and execution of trade shows, special events, and conferences to showcase products and amplify messaging. Researches and identifies strategic messaging for specific advertising or promotional channels to effectively reach targeted customer segments. Additionally, Marketing Communications Specialist V liaises with the media and internal stakeholders to communicate strategic messaging in alignment with the organization's business objectives and policies. Tracks projects to measure effectiveness and prepares status reports for stakeholders. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Marketing Communications Specialist V works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.
