Electrician III inspects, repairs, installs, and maintains electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. Ensures all work performed meets required safety codes. Being an Electrician III uses a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment. Generally required to complete an apprenticeship. Additionally, Electrician III typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically requires Electrician License. Typically reports to a manager. The Electrician III works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. To be an Electrician III typically requires 3-5 years of related experience.
