Requirements and Responsibilities

Card Services Manager manages an organization's credit and debit card programs. Develops policies and processes to ensure card operations comply with internal procedures and government regulatory requirements. Being a Card Services Manager plans and oversees new card products or services. Supports promotion and advertising efforts to increase customer awareness, satisfaction, and participation. Additionally, Card Services Manager monitors application processing and cardholder inquiries and requests to identify process and product improvements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Card Services Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Card Services Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.
