Requirements and Responsibilities

Assisted Living Facilities Manager oversees the facility services at a skilled nursing, assisted living, or similar facility. Responsible for monitoring building and ground maintenance, laundry services, and housekeeping. Being an Assisted Living Facilities Manager performs regular inspections to ensure that appearance and cleanliness standards are maintained, and that equipment is functioning properly. May schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance. Additionally, Assisted Living Facilities Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Assisted Living Facilities Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs.
