Overview: The Advisory Dean Program ("ADP" or "Program") Of New York Medical College (NYMC), School of Medicine (SOM) is established as an integral component of student life in providing longitudinal career advisement, coaching, mentoring, teaching related to career development, and reinforcement of the importance of student mental health and wellness. In partnership with trained Advisory Deans ("AD"), the Program is managed by the Advisory Dean Program Director who reports to the Dean of Students within the Office of Student Affairs.
