Construction Flaggers will be responsible for directing traffic safely around construction zones, ensuring the safety of workers, pedestrians, and motorists. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. Key Responsibilities: Direct and control vehicular and pedestrian traffic around construction sites using hand signals, signs, and flags. Monitor traffic flow and report any unsafe conditions or incidents to supervisors immediately. Communicate effectively with construction crew and other flaggers to coordinate traffic management. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local traffic control standards and safety regulations. Maintain a high level of situational awareness to anticipate and respond to potential hazards. Essential Functions: Working with the Pavement Marking team to paint the roadways. The job functions are not just driving but working with a team to successfully paint or stripe the highways and roadways. We will train you for your duties. $28 - $32 per hour DOE depending on experience and your CDL endorsements. Must have a valid CDL and a good driving record, prefer with a Hazmat endorsement for Epoxy. Will use mechanical aptitude and experience with equipment, vehicle, and diesel mechanics. In this position you will work overtime, nights and weekends as required depending on your shift. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and stand, sit and bend for long durations. POSITION REQUIREMENTS ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Must have a valid CDL B driver's license and a good driving record. A CDL class A is a plus.
