Summary: Performs basic and intermediate screening and diagnostic mammography examinations under the direction of the Radiologist. Duties: Performs breast imaging as well as ultrasound and stereotactic-guided biopsy procedures. Assists in the technical orientation of cross-trained Radiologic Technologists and instructs them in complex or difficult procedures. Operate and maintain mammography equipment according to manufacturer specifications and facility protocols. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing concerns.
