Thibs Auto Titles & Tags is a privately owned Public Tag Agent licensed by the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles. The company was founded in June of 1997 by owner, Alice Thibodeaux, and Vice President, Cynthia Thibodeaux. Our goal is to provide great service, knowledgeable staff and southern hospitality. Since opening our doors in downtown Crowley, Thibs has continued to grow with three additional offices located in Lake Charles, Broussard and Scott. In addition to offering exceptional customer service, we pride ourselves on being Louisiana owned and operated. Born and raised in Gueydan, Louisiana, Alice Thibodeaux was a small town Cajun girl who loved music and dancing but above all else family. In 1960 she moved to Crowley, LA to start a life and family with her husband Donald J Thibodeaux. Alice proudly raised four children while being the wife to the Colonel of Louisiana State Police and also a Louisiana District 42 Representative. In June of 1997, after the passing of her husband, she decided to invest in the business idea of her oldest daughter, Cynthia Thibodeaux, and became the owner and operator of Thibs Auto Titles & Tags. Alice sought to make interactions in her offices memorable and pleasant experiences instead of simply providing a service. She believed strongly in the power of a smile; which is why Thibs still to this day uses a smiley face. Alice remains the heart and soul of Thibs Auto Titles & Tags each and every day and is both proud and humbled at what her business has become. Notary Public available at all locations.
