Opened in 1973 in a barn on the north side of Grand Rapids, Michigan, by founder and current company president Tom Selvius, TerryTown RV now consistently ranks among Michigans top volume RV dealers year after year. The very first RV ever sold at TerryTown was sold by Tom himself. It was a 1973 19 Taurus with stylish orange interior, four stabilizing jacks, hubcaps, a water hose, sewer hose, and a spare tire. It rolled out the door for $3099 and the deal included a 1969 Aristocrat Lo-Liner as a trade-in. After that first sale, and the many more that followed, Tom realized that his continued growth warranted a better location and some employees. He couldnt continue to handle the sales, service, administrative duties, and snow removal with an old Ford tractor all on his own anymore. The present location in Cutlerville was built in 1976, with additions being built on in the years to come. TerryTown RV became a Jayco dealer that same year. This location now has the largest RV showroom in Michigan as well as a state-of-the-art 10-bay service facility. From the very first RV to every RV that has passed through our doors since then, we strive to deliver the unbeatable prices and superb service our customers expect from a family-owned business.
