Salom America Company has been a manufacturer of chargers and power supplies for over 30 years. We are an OEM to many Fortune 500 companies such as Lenovo, Kyocera, Panasonic, Philips and Dyson, to name a few. In 2011, Salom America Company decided to introduce a new brand to the market called, Power By Gen (or Gen). The intention is to provide the retail channel a high quality brand of chargers and power supplies for the masses that are also fun and innovative in their design. In February of 2012, Power by Gen launched its first product offering; a standard USB charger named Andru. In June 2016 Salom officially embarked on a contract with Motorola Trademark Holdings, LLC as an official trademark licensee worldwide. In practice, this licensee agreement will enable Salom to self-develop, manufacture and distribute consumer-grade external power supplies under the Motorola brand. From the perspective of worldwide distribution channel management, Salom will manage the existing retail sales channels that have been distributing and/or reselling Motorola products while further developing other effective channels through distributor recruitment. Salom is also introducing self-developed product innovations to enhance and grow the Motorola product line. Through marketing, promotion, and portfolio expansion, the ultimate goal is to maximize the Motorola brand profit and value on a global basis.
