The Mental Health Association is seeking a Crisis Outreach Supervisor for our new program, 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Team, operating out of the Essex County location. The 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Response program will respond to adults (18 and above) in nonlife-threatening situations who have contacted the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. The Mobile Crisis Outreach Response program (MCORT) responds 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year, to nonlife-threatening mental health, substance use or suicidal crises in the community. MCORT will work in coordination with the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline crisis centers. (The 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline was formerly the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a human services field. Must have at least one year of related experience. Computer literacy and a Valid driver's license and the ability to drive a passenger van is required. Responsibilities: Responsible for the daily implementation of the Partial Care Program, in collaboration with staff, supervisors and members, to provide partial care services to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, in order to enhance community functioning. Plan and facilitate milieu activities, including therapy, coping, activity and psycho-educational groups to enhance social skills and promote relapse prevention and independent living. Performs case management duties including linkage and referrals to mental health and non-mental health services, service coordination, and assists clients with developing service plans. The Mental Health Association is seeking a Prevention Specialist to provide services to our Spanish speaking consumers and family membersfor our new program, New Jersey Statewide Student Support Services (NJ4S) Hub, operating in Morris and Sussex Counties. The NJ4S Hub program will provide regional coverage through a "Hub" that will offer proven prevention strategies used to support every student in Morris and Sussex Counties and their families. The Hub will integrate its programming with existing state and local services, to improve coordination and reduce duplication of effort. The Hub will offer a tiered menu of evidence-based prevention and intervention strategies that can be deployed in high-need districts. The NJ4S Hub will provide universal supports to all Morris/Sussex students, and more intensive supports to students in schools with higher needs.
