WHP is a unique program in Houston that provides customized case management over a 9-month period. We have a 20-year track record of demonstrated outcomes, enabling client families who enter the program to be successful in building new habits and become self-sufficient. We concentrate on our area of expertise: comprehensive case management using an Individualized Family Service Plan. We collaborate with other resource providers to supplement our program with necessary supports. The Individual Family Service Plan requires at least one adult member of the family to have a job within 60 days and includes assistance with tapered rent and utilities, child care, and transportation; monthly budgeting sessions with their Family Service Counselor; individualized requirements for skill training and additional education; parenting classes; and total accountability for completion of the program.
