The Shop Technician, under direct supervision is responsible for a variety of warehouse and general shop activities at the facility. Duties may include but not be limited to, blowout preventer (BOP) preparation and testing, some maintenance on machines, tools and/or equipment, movement and loading of materials and equipment throughout the facility and perform general housekeeping duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Prepping and servicing BOPs. Performing and documenting pressure tests for BOPs and other components after service. Obtaining and maintaining an inventory of expendable materials and parts.
