Olive Branch Christian School (OBCS) is located just east off the El Cerrito Road exit of route 15 in Corona, CA. The opening of the school on March 16, 1997 was through prayerful consideration by the elders and church members. The Lord's leading allowed for the Olive Branch Christian Preschool (OBCP) to be formed in 1996 and was the cornerstone for opening the elementary school a year later. Today, Olive Branch Christian Academy has grades K-8. OBCS is a mission of the Olive Branch Community Church which has Elders that provide oversight for the school. The academy is run by the School Board, which is made up of a Church Elder, the Preschool Director, the Academy Administration, and 5 appointed church members. OBCS is a member of the Association of Christian Schools Internationals (ACSI). As part of ACSI, students can experience the enrichment of other Christians schools as they compete in speech meets, spelling bees, math olympics, creative writing, science fairs and music festivals. ACSI also provides an ongoing training and support programs for teachers, faculty, and administrators to ensure excellence in every area of the Christian School Program. OBCS is also a member of the Association of Classical and Christian Schools (ACCS). Through this organization, our teachers receive further support, education, and training in effectively teaching their students to become life-long learners.
