Since 1996, Mountain West Anesthesia (MWA) has served as one of the foremost providers of quality, comprehensive anesthesia care for communities throughout Utah. Originally founded with 61 members serving in three facilitiesLDS Hospital, McKay Dee Hospital, and Utah Valley HospitalMWA has now tripled in size to include over 180 physicians anesthesiologists. From the beginning, MWA has sought to elevate the standard of anesthesia care in Utah by bringing the most qualified physician anesthesiologists to live and practice in our communities. Many of our physicians have completed fellowships at distinguished programs such as Stanford, Mayo Clinic, Dartmouth, Harvard, the University of Utah, UCLA, and Vanderbilt to specialize in different anesthesia practices. All of our physicians have received board certification from the American Board of Anesthesiologists or are board eligible. But MWA doesn't just provide great anesthesia care.
