We are located in a prime area of the US for hardwood lumber. We are nestled in little but well known area that is called "The highland rim region". This is a prime location for harvesting timber that has good even color and characteristics of Appalachian hardwoods. We at Middle Tennessee Lumber grade the lumber in strict accordance with the National Hardwood Lumber Association grading rules both before and after kiln drying. We even re-grade after surfacing. This insures that you the customer get a high quality product. We have designated over 45,000 square feet for our millwork products alone. We have many different capabilities in our millwork plant. To give you an idea of some of the machines that we have here is a list of a few : Mereen Johnson Rip Saw, 3 molders (2 Weining and 1 Diehl), Barr-Mullin Turbo Saw, Taylor Clamp carrier, and a top of the line Western Pneumatic Finger-Jointer. Our products are as diversified as our customers, but our focus is S4S boards in clear poplar, red oak, and finger-jointed poplar. We also provide a complete line of hardwood plywood .
