Keystone Koating began in 1986 as a way to professionally coat the steel products manufactured by other Paul B. Zimmerman companies, particularly PBZ's metal fabrication plant. As Keystone established its reputation for quality and customer service, we found more outside firms contracting with us to powder coat their items. Customers also appreciated the convenience of our close connection to PBZ's fabrication capabilities, as well as warehousing, fulfillment, and delivery. To handle new client demands, we added a second plant a mile down the road, then a third in the Mifflintown area. But even after 20 years we still weren't satisfied, so in 2009 we introduced changes to our powder-coating process that further upgraded the durability of our coatings. With the purchase of a tractor trailer in 2010, we are well positioned today to handle the needs of new clients as well as old. Our central Pennsylvania location places us within close reach of major industrial corridors across the Eastern US. The Paul B. Zimmerman companies have been serving customers since 1947.
