Overview: Under the direction of the Manager, 24/7 Team, and in collaboration with other shops in Facilities Operations, the Site Protection Supervisor will supervise the 24/7 response team consisting of 12 maintenance mechanics who respond to Facilities Operations emergency and urgent issues on campus. In addition, the Supervisor will direct 24/7 response team to perform effective and code compliant inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of all life safety systems which reside within University boundaries. With this position supervising staff who work 24/7, it is important the supervisor has the opportunity to interact with both day and night shifts. The hours of this position will be 2nd shift in nature i.e. Monday- Friday 1pm-9:30pm. Additionally, approved flextime will be available one day a week to allow supervisor to attend mandatory meetings and training sessions.
