CNC Machinist Job Summary: Operate computer-controlled machine centers to perform one or more machine functions CNC Machinist Job Duties: Adjust machine feed and speed, change cutting tools, or adjust machine controls when automatic programming is faulty or if machine malfunctions Calculate machine speed and feed ratios, and size and position of cuts Clean and maintain machines, tooling, and parts to maintain equipment in optimal production condition Insert control instructions into machine control units to start operation Lift work pieces, fixtures, and vices to machine manually or with hoist or crane Listen to machines during operation to detect sounds such as those made by dull cutting tools or excessive vibration and adjust machines to fix any problems Measure dimensions of finished work piece

In this role production consists of serving the aerospace and medical industries. Daily responsibilities will include performing set ups, running and troubleshooting machinery, holding tight tolerances, and performing inspections on all products. Candidates must have strong skillsets and at a minimum of two years of experience with CNC Milling or Lathes. You will be responsible for performing very complex work, must be okay with wearing many hats in our facility, and communicate with our engineering team consistently.
