The Housing Authority of the County of Butte (HACB) is located in Chico, California and is a non-profit public agency incorporated in 1946. The mission of HACB is to assist low and moderate income residents of Butte and Glenn Counties to secure and maintain high quality affordable housing. Subsidized housing is provided to families, seniors and disabled individuals whose income is between 50% and 80% of median area income. With funding for the various programs provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the USDA Rural Development. Open Market housing is available to all applicants at affordable rents. HACB administers and/or manages many different programs.
