Hendrick Health System has signed agreements to purchase Abilene Regional Medical Center and Brownwood Regional Medical Center from affiliates of Community Health Systems, Inc. (CHS). The proposed transactions would expand local access to vital healthcare services, as well as advance our mission. With the proposed transactions to purchase Abilene Regional and Brownwood Regional, Hendrick will be able to provide more access points for patients, while enhancing healthcare services. Our communities are only strong if our local healthcare is strong.
