Job Description: Pure Lithium is looking for a Research Associate to join our Battery Development Team. In this role, the individual will work closely with research associates and scientists to build R&D batteries and support general lab experiments. In addition to technical experience, this position requires a willingness to learn new tools, methods, and techniques as needed for the job. The ideal candidate should be proficient with various lab equipment and be comfortable working across different projects in a laboratory environment. The candidate must also be prepared to do repetitive tasks with attention to detail to ensure excellent quality control and reproducibility of data. Responsibilities: Work in a glovebox to mix electrolytes, build cells, and conduct other relevant experiments. Work with battery cyclers to test cells. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist research analyst(s) in selecting and evaluating companies that are candidates for investment recommendations. Assist analyst(s) in preparing reports, financial analyses, and forecasts on potentially promising investment ideas that may be included in various Research Department publications. Travel, periodically, to visit the senior management members of companies who are potential candidates for Research Department coverage. Disseminate information on publications of assigned companies which are distributed internally, to clients and to the public. Communicate investment recommendations and updates on existing recommendations to sales professionals through oral presentations and assist them in communicating the recommendations to their clients.
