Hawkeye Fire & Safety Company is a locally owned and operated company since 1979 and was started by William L Chadima Sr.; it began as a spin off company from Kacena Welding Supply. In 1991, Bill Chadima Jr. purchased the business and soon expanded into a larger line of fire protection products, life safety items and one of the largest fire and safety service providers in Iowa. Today we have become a full service fire and safety distributor and sales warehouse with first aid and medical supplies, personal protective equipment, fire extinguisher products and spill control products, and services in the Eastern Iowa area.
