Based on our years of experience in our field of expertise, our management team and CAD/CAM department, can offer technical assistance in areas that include: supporting the customers initial design phase, suggesting appropriate materials selection, and suggesting appropriate packaging and delivery modes for your products. Using reverse engineering concepts, we can also reproduce prototypes and fabrications working from customer conceptual designs, sketches, or mock-up models. All of our conceptual representations of your fabrication needs include, and require, customer verification and validation approval. Gerome's qualified and dedicated staff is available at our plants or will travel to your facilities to help reduce and/or contain costs, while assuring the quality control that results from single source responsibility. Typically, Gerome's CAD/CAM technicians will take a finished product detailed customer drawing and redraw it so that the sub-assembly piece parts are defined to accurately make the fabrication assembly. To accomplish this, we utilize our computerized, state-of-the-art, 3D modeling system which was specifically designed and programmed for the sheet metal industry to breakdown a 3D drawing into its flat state component parts. This computerized system provides Gerome with a virtual prototype before the parts are ever processed, thereby reducing costly mistakes and assuring that our customers products will be delivered on time. With this system, the flat layout parts can be accurately sheared, punched, laser cut and formed to meet customer requirements.
