Parker Arts and Humanities teachers Jed Lippard, Matthew Smith, and Jim Nehring completed National Board of Professional Teaching Standards certification requirements in spring 2000, and currently await notification from NBPTS. Parker librarian Laurie Nehring was recognized by the United States Environmental Protection Agency as an outstanding activist for environmental affairs. She attended the national conference and training as the Massachusetts delegate this spring.
