Position Summary: The Occupational Therapist, Weekend Option treats patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities through the therapeutic use of everyday activities. They help these patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working. This position is used primarily to supplement weekend staffing. Responsibilities: Essential Functions Evaluates patients, gathering data from the patient, physician, interdisciplinary team meetings if available, family and significant other persons and data sources. Develops treatment plans which integrate with the continuum of care and have specific goals and objectives. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to treat and provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned caseload. Demonstrates the ability to assess data reflective of the patients status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patients requirements relative to their age-specific needs, and to pr
