POSITION SUMMARY A Police Officer assigned to Patrol operates under the direct supervision of the Patrol Commander and Patrol Sergeant. The Patrol Officer is sworn to enforce all laws and ordinances for which the Department is responsible; to protect the lives and property of all persons; and to maintain peace and order within the Village of Mundelein. When properly required to do so the Patrol Officer will provide any service that is necessary for the furtherance of the Department's mission and objectives.
