Job Description Job Description Deputy Sheriff Commissioned entry level position in our detention center Candidates must be 21 years of age Valid Class A Peace Officer license through Missouri POST If you have a Class B license you may be eligible for a Class A, but must contact Missouri POST directly to inquire. Ability to work any shift assigned, current assignments are 0700-1900 hours and 1900-0700 hours with a Panama schedule rotation with every other weekend off Responsible for maintaining safety and security in and out of the detention facility Processing individuals in and out of the detention facility Supervision of inmate activities Inmate transportation Court Other correctional facilities Medical Starting Salary: $55,000 yearly plus uniform allowance and benefits.
