Dr. Marc Cromie and all of 0CAC's providers are board-certified in Allergy and Immunology, in addition to being board-certified in either Pediatrics or Internal Medicine. CAC is able to diagnose and test allergies to environmental allergens like pollen, mold and dust mites, as well as food allergies. The clinic also can test for and treat allergy to stinging insects, such as fire ants, wasps, honeybees, yellow jackets and hornets. The allergists and staff of Chattanooga Allergy Clinic are an experienced and caring team of specialists, board certified in infant, pediatric, adolescent and adult allergy, asthma and immunology. Chattanoga Allergy Clinic first opened in 1975, started by Hyman Kaplan, M.D., the first allergist in Chattanooga. Thirty-five years later, Dr. Kaplan is still seeing patients and training UT Chattanooga Medical Residents. The Lee Highway home office has been in the same location for 27 years, while CAC has expanded its reach by opening offices in Hixson,Cleveland, Fort Oglethorpe, and Erlanger at Volkswagon Drive to better serve patients in Tennessee and North Georgia.
