We are seeking an HR Manager to join one of our clients in Hartselle, AL. They are one of the transmission and utility construction companies in the southeast. The HR Manager will oversee the HR operations for a company of about 700 employees, including a blue-collar workforce. This role requires strong HRIS (preferably UKG) and Excel skills, as well as experience in payroll, benefits auditing, and compliance. They will manage 4 coordinators directly, manage office administration, handle employee relations, benefits and compliance, and other responsibilities. Must Haves: 5+ years of experience in an HR Manager or leadership role Background and understanding of HRIS systems (ideally UKG) Excel knowledge (pivot tables, etc.) Experience working in compliance (I9, benefit matching, etc.) Understanding of payroll Preferred Qualifications: Experience using UKG Background working with a blue-collar workforce
