A felony conviction or class A misdemeanors may prevent a candidate from meeting the minimum requirements to be licensed as a private security officer in Arkansas. Additionally, this position is designated as a safety and security sensitive position pursuant to the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act and is subject to drug and alcohol testing.
