Description A Brief Overview The Critical Care Paramedic is responsible for providing lifesaving and critical interventions to patients who require a higher level of care than is immediately available at any referring facility both inside or outside of the University Hospitals Health System. The Critical Care Paramedic functions at the highest levels within their scope of practice and makes advanced clinical decisions to ensure the safe and timely movement of patients across the region.
