XLC Services, a division of D.E. Foxx & Associates, Inc. is looking for an experienced and effective Night Shift Production Supervisor to direct a production team.
You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing, and dispatch of a wide variety of products. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all production processes are running smoothly and promptly.
WHAT WILL YOU DO :
- Train production personnel to perform work assignments safely and efficiently.
- Maintains good employee relations through coaching and consistent application of employee relation policies.
- May facilitate employee team operations.
- May review and coach employees in accordance with the plant goals.
- Administers production salary / wage policy for operating personnel properly.
- Administers and enforces health, environmental and safety standards, work practices and housekeeping policies and procedures.
- Arranges for proper maintenance of machines and equipment.
- May reports daily indicators, including production scrap, batteries per person / hour, and batteries per measured hour.
WHAT WILL YOU NEED :
- 4 years of warehouse and production floor related experience
- Associates Degree (Business, Engineering, related field)
- Cost savings, process improvement
- Employee development
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office
Desired (but not required) Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree (Business, Engineering, related field)
- 8 years of warehouse and production floor related experience
- Experience with inventory tracking
- Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices facility
- Microsoft Suite
- Sig Sigma / Lean Project Management
