United Producers, Inc. took shape in 1999 through the consolidation in operations of Producers Livestock Association (Ohio/Indiana) and MFA Livestock (Missouri). Over the next two years, UPI brought into its operations the Interstate Producers Livestock Association (Illinois) and the Michigan Livestock Exchange (Michigan, Indiana and Kentucky). In 2020, UPI assumed operations of Tennessee Livestock Producers from the Tennessee Farm Bureau. Through our original identities, we have provided livestock services to our farmer members for over 70 years.
Today, United Producers, Inc. services 35,000 members in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio and Tennessee. We operate 30 facilities and handle approximately 3 million head of livestock annually.

Responsibilities may include some or all of the following:
- Safely loading, unloading, sorting, moving, and penning livestock following animal well-being guidelines.
- Writing tickets with information regarding the livestock and producers.
- Care of livestock.
- General upkeep of the facility to include cleaning and repairs.
- Providing excellent customer service to our producers and buyers
- Ability to read, write, and count;
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions;
- Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, see, and hear;
- Must be agile;
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs. regularly;
- Must have experience with livestock;
- Prior experience driving a skid loader is preferred
