Location: Panama City, FL: Center for Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Diving (CEODD), Naval Support Activity (NSA) , 350 South Crag Road, Panama City, FL 32407

Overview: Threat Management Group is looking for qualified candidates to provide athletic training services and STRIKE Human Performance Program Support to U.S. Navy personnel.
CEODD developed a physical fitness-training program called the STRIKE HPP for Navy Diver and EOD accession pipeline. The STRIKE HPP is an EXOS Company designed program specifically tailored for students in the Diving and EOD basic training courses and uses classrooms, gyms, pools, running trails, running tracks, and various obstacle courses at each of the three Learning Sites. The Learning Sites are at NSA Panama City, Florida; Eglin AFB, Florida; and Naval Station Great Lakes, Illinois. The goal of STRIKE HPP is to decrease injuries, optimize performance, and to prepare students for the various physically demanding military operational environments following graduation.
Candidates must have:
· A bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university program in exercise physiology, kinesiology, exercise science, or other closely related field.
· A Certification as an Athletic Trainer in accordance with the Board of Certification,
· A minimum of three (3) years of relevant athletic training experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer. Relevant experience means developing and executing task and environment specific functional injury control and health/well-being programs for groups of athletes or Department of Defense personnel.
· Complete NACLC Investigation (Confidential or Secret clearance investigation) (preferred)
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Oversee the execution of the CEODD STRIKE HPP for all Learning Sites, to include the initial STRIKE qualification, refresher training, and certification of 183 military EOD and Diving Instructors. Occasional travel to the Learning Sites is required.
· Attend physical training sessions at NDSTC 2 to 3 times per week and demonstrate proper strength and conditioning techniques. A high level of general physical fitness and athleticism is required to demonstrate techniques.
· Manage a state-of-the-art performance-based strength and conditioning program. Support includes the assessment of physical practices and demands associated with the physical training sessions for Diver and EOD accession training and the design and implementation of evidence-based physical training plans and techniques that optimize performance and mitigate injuries.
· Perform as a Certified Exercise Reconditioning Specialist in the evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of sports medicine musculoskeletal injuries, and in the follow-on strength and conditioning program. The work requires the immediate treatment, evaluation and management of acute and chronic injuries as well as ongoing preventative measures.
· Enter student Personal Identification Information and human performance data into military databases (e.g., ALTA, SMARTABASE, or their replacements) and submit an annual report of Designated Government Representative requested statistics.
· Attend STRIKE HPP meetings, conferences, and briefings as directed by the COR, and then write and deliver a report (e.g., minutes of the meeting, after action report) to the CEODD Training Department within two working days. The report shall include the minutes, general information, observations, conclusions, and any recommended actions.
