Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred.
- Car audio sales experience preferred (training available for motivated individuals).
- Knowledge of vehicle accessory products is a plus.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and cash register operation.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Basic understanding of retail math for calculating discounts, sales tax, etc.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet Customers and Provide Excellent Customer Service:
- Welcome customers to Texas Boombox with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Offer assistance and ensure a positive and engaging shopping experience.
Manage Emails:
- Monitor and manage incoming emails promptly.
- Respond to customer inquiries, product requests, and service-related queries via email.
Assist Customers in Finding Products and Making Purchasing Decisions:
- Engage with customers to understand their car accessory and audio needs.
- Provide expert guidance on product selection and make personalized recommendations.
Operate Cash Register and Handle Cash Transactions Accurately:
- Process customer transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle cash transactions, provide change, and ensure secure handling of payments.
Stock Shelves and Maintain Inventory Levels:
- Keep shelves organized and well-stocked with the latest car accessories and audio products.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to the management team.
Maintain a Clean and Organized Sales Floor:
- Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Arrange displays to showcase featured products and promotions effectively.
Answer Phone Calls and Respond to Customer Inquiries:
- Handle incoming phone calls professionally and promptly.
- Provide information about products, services, and store policies to customers over the phone.
Provide Product Knowledge and Information to Customers:
- Stay informed about the features and specifications of car audio products.
- Educate customers on the benefits of different accessories and help them make informed decisions.
