Hiring/Field Project Manager:
Requirements:
· Two to five years of painting experience in the commercial construction industry
- Two to three years of work experience in a supervisory role preferred
· Proficient use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and strong general computer skills
- Able to communicate clearly/effectively with clients/vendors/subcontractors and employees
- Ability to lead effectively and motivate team
- High school diploma or equivalent and/or associate degree
- Basic understanding of blueprints
- Time management and punctuality
- Reliable transportation
Qualifications:
- The Hiring/Field Project Manager will assist with projects and manage work crews, subcontractors and superintendents related to each project
- This job entails supervising projects throughout construction and final completion
- Attract and recruit new employees with the main goal of building an efficient team
- Bilingual preferred
Essential Functions:
- Supervisory of subcontractor leads and employees in the field
- Assist the project management team with document control needs and change orders
- Create and track project Request for Change paperwork and Field Change Orders
- Communicate any RFI’s, addendums, or change orders to the Project Manager
- Attend on-site and off-site meetings as necessary
- Provide administrative support to the project team; make copies and file general office paperwork; answer phones in a professional manner as needed
- Regularly attend company safety training sessions
- Interact with clients, vendors, and staff in a professional, courteous and appropriate manner
- Understand and follow the company chain of command and reporting methods
- Retain and apply what is learned as it applies to the next skill level.

Work Environment:
This job performs physically demanding work. May work at great heights or outdoors in all weather conditions. The use of Personal Protection Equipment is required. May also be required to do office work with use of computers, copiers, and answering systems.
Physical Demands:

- The position lifts heavy objects, walks and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions
- The employee lifts, pushes, pulls, or carries objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue
- The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination
- The position requires the ability to quickly move arms and legs. The employee must have excellent stamina
- Must be able to be on feet for long periods of time up to 50% of the time.
- Occasionally moves about inside the office to access filing cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Operates a computer and other office machinery, such as a computer printer and calculator
- Expresses or exchanges ideas by means of the spoken word, including those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly
- Frequently moves all types of equipment up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions for long periods of time
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a part-time position transitioning to full-time. Part-time hours are typically Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Full-time hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with overtime as needed before/after shifts and on Saturdays.
Travel:
Travel is primarily local in the Front Range area during the business day, although some out-of-area travel may be expected. Mileage will be reimbursed.
Experience:
- Two to five years of painting experience in the commercial construction industry required
- Two to three years of work experience in a supervisory role is preferred
- Basic understanding of blueprints required
- Effective written and verbal communications
- Must be detail oriented, organized and confident in the ability to complete tasks in an effective manner
- Self-sufficient skills in use of Word, Excel, and strong general computer skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Confident in managing multiple tasks at one time
- Driven in a fast-paced setting
Education:
Associate’s degree in business or construction related fields preferred.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
- Maintains a valid driver’s license and be insurable under company insurance provider/program
- Must provide resume with at least three references
