We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Grant and Incentive Development Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will be instrumental in identifying, applying for, and managing grants and incentives related to our EV charging, solar, and battery storage projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grants management, a deep understanding of renewable energy programs, and excellent communication skills.
Target compensation: $90,000 - 125,000 Base Salary dependent upon experience.
Grant and Incentive Development Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Incentive Research and Development:
- Identify federal, state, and local grant opportunities, tax incentives, and funding programs relevant to EV charging, solar, and battery storage projects.
- Analyze funding eligibility requirements and ensure compliance with grant application processes.
- Create and maintain a database of relevant grants and incentive programs for internal teams (sales, project development).
- Grant Application Management:
- Prepare and submit high-quality grant applications and proposals to secure funding.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, finance, operations) to gather necessary data and documentation for applications.
- Project Coordination:
- Oversee the implementation of funded projects, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and reporting obligations.
- Monitor project progress and report updates to stakeholders and funding agencies.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with governmental agencies, non-profits, and industry partners to build relationships and promote grant opportunities.
- Summarize grant programs in clear terms for cross-functional teams, highlighting their practical impact on projects and potential for enhancing sales outreach.
- Represent SitelogIQ at relevant industry events, conferences, and workshops.
- Performance Evaluation and Reporting:
- Develop metrics to assess the impact and effectiveness of secured incentives and grants.
- Prepare periodic reports for internal and external stakeholders regarding funding outcomes and project progress.
Grant and Incentive Development Manager Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, Public Policy, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in grant writing, incentive development, or program management, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
- Incentive experience with at least one of the following technologies: EV charging, solar technology, and battery storage systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software.
