JOB DESCRIPTION – PART TIME OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Job Summary:
The individual in this position will manage all functions of the front office. They will be responsible for accounting, record maintenance, customer service and data security. This individual will also be the final point of contact for all customer service issues.
Job duties and responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
Responsible for processing accounts payable / receivable
Updates accounting records with new payments, balances, customer information etc.
Prepares check deposit
Collect past due payments
Calculates salesperson commissions
Mail processing
Answers questions and handles complaints from customers regarding bills
Customer service
Keeps all customer information up-to-date in the company’s database
Operates as the lead point of contact for any customer service issues
Backup to front desk receptionist when necessary
Must learn and understand product offerings to assist with customer orders
Data security
In charge of risk management procedures to ensure the security of sensitive customer information
Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls to keep information confidential
Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements

Education / Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Business Administration (or equivalent experience)
A minimum of four years previous office management / accounting experience is required
Schedule and benefits:
Looking for someone who is willing to stick with this position for several years
Looking for 3-4 days/week
Hours can be semi-flexible with an end time of 4:00 PM
Pay: Negotiable
Other duties:
Coordinates the maintenance of office equipment, including copier, fax machine, etc.
Purchase office supplies, as needed
Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
