Job Description/Responsibilities
Bio: This position completes customs and FDA documentation to ensure completion and release of imported bulk. Responsible for balancing and submitting TTB reports, such as Processing, Production and Storage. Balancing of month end inventories. Provide audit support and ensure accuracy of Processing, Bottling and Shipping documents.
- Maintain all compliance matters with TTB, including: timely submission of reports such as 5110.28 (Processing Operations), payment of FET taxes (5000.24A Excise Tax Return), State Taxes, exports (5100.11), and audit support. Responsible for balancing bulk inventories. Verify tax rates on bottled product and shipments for accuracy. Provide support during physical inventory of case goods. Review/file paperwork from Processing, Bottling, and shipping as backup for TTB audits. Ensure adherence to Personal Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Environmental Policies and Practices.
- Prepare semi-monthly FET reports for submission to TTB. These must be done in an accurate and timely manner. After preparing and reviewing the FET reports for submission ensure they are distributed to TTB, customers, and the corporate office. These bi-monthly FET submissions are critical as they represent significant financial impact for the company (in the millions).
- Accountable for coordinating schedules, releases, and associated reporting with Processing department, brokers, and government agencies as to ensure timely releases of imported bulk material. Accurately prepare and submit all reports to TTB, corporate office, plant personnel, and state government in a timely manner. Work with IT to ensure system reports for Government Records are accurate, reliable, and facilitate improvements or updates as necessary, as needed.
- Assist TTB personnel during on site audits or general inquiries. All government records documentation should be readily accessible and organized for auditing.
- As needed, audit or review specific areas for TTB compliance, specifically bottling, processing, and shipping. Provide feedback to department as needed to improve accuracy.
- Develop and maintain solid professional working relationships inside and outside the company. Set a positive example and act in a manner consistent with the company values.
- Work closely with Manager to improve work-related skills, which will lead to improved performance and benefit your professional growth as well as the company's success. Implement a Performance Development Plan for yourself that will facilitate your improvement in at least 1 competency at any given time and facilitate improving your performance against position description outcomes.

Qualifications/Requirements

- Experience in Alcohol Beverage Industry or CPG overall
- Yes Alcoholic Beverage Industry compliance experience
- Yes Experience in a compliance related field such as TTB, Customs, IRS, auditing
