Multi-Line Liability Claim Representative II (Remote)

Are you an experienced claims professional looking to take the next step in your career? CCMSI is seeking a Multi-Line Liability Claim Representative II with 5 years of multi-line claim experience to join our team in a fully remote role. An adjuster’s license is required, and previous experience with hospitality or food product claims is highly desirable.

In this role, you will be responsible for the investigation and adjustment of complex multi-line liability claims across various industries, ensuring that each claim is handled with the highest level of service. This position offers an excellent opportunity to advance your career with potential for promotion to senior-level positions, as it serves as an advanced training role.

You’ll play a crucial part in delivering exceptional claim services to our clients, adhering to CCMSI's corporate claim standards. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about maintaining high-quality service.

Responsibilities:

Investigate and adjust multi-line liability claims in accordance with established claims handling procedures using CCMSI guidelines and direct supervision.

Review medical, legal and miscellaneous invoices to determine if reasonable and related to the ongoing liability claims. Negotiate any disputed bills for resolution.

Authorize and make payment of liability claims utilizing a claim payment program in accordance with industry standards and within settlement authority.

Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys in accordance with client's authorization.

Assist in selection and supervision of defense attorneys.

Assess and monitor subrogation claims for resolution.

Prepare reports detailing claims, payments and reserves.

Provide reports and monitor files, as required by excess insurers.

Compliance with Service Commitments as established by team.

Delivery of quality claim service to clients.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Education and/or Experience

Level II Claim Rep will possess excellent claims management skills, typically with 5 to 10 years of experience or equivalent education, along with proven claims handling performance levels.

Computer Skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office programs such as: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Adjusters license is required.
