Position Summary: The Recruiter oversees all Redstone hiring needs. This includes sourcing, interviewing, and evaluating candidates, posting and editing job ads, and training hiring managers. The Recruiter will manage hiring for leadership, finance, accounting, and marketing positions. The Recruiter will build and foster relationships with potential candidates and attend local career fairs. They will report directly to the Director of Human Resources.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and foster relationships with candidates to build out a recruiting pipeline.
- Source passive candidates for high-impact leadership roles.
- Directly manage between 3-5 requisitions at a time and oversee up to 35 requisitions.
- Evaluate compensation and recommend changes for underperforming jobs. Hold phone and Zoom interviews and forward top candidates.
- Assist and provide training for hiring managers.
- Provide an excellent candidate experience throughout the interview process.
- Support and help implement staffing and compensation strategies.
- Negotiate compensation and other employment terms with candidates.
- Evaluate interview and screening processes.
- Give feedback to potential candidates and provide updates during the hiring process.
- Ensure legal compliance with hiring practices.
Experience and Qualifications:
- 5 years of recruiting experience is required.
- A bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of HR sourcing strategies and techniques.
- Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
- Experience with Indeed, Linkedin, and social media to attract and interact with applicants.
- Able to manage in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
