In support of the acute care facilities, this role partners with leadership to provide focused oversight for developing, implementing, and evaluating Credentials processes to assure accurate and timely completion of the medical staff applications for appointment, reappointments and temporary appointment to the Region. Trains and supervises staff and consultants. Provides professional support to the Region Credentialing Coordinators, Physician Leaders, and Facility Administrators to assure compliance with the required regulations for each appropriate accrediting body.

This is a fully Remote opportunity!
Schedule is full time, 1.0 FTE, Day shift, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm in Alaska time zone, with some flexibility and advance notice to provide support outside these hours; 40 hours per week.
*Note: States that are NOT currently permitted for Providence remote employment: Colorado, New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Ohio, and Hawaii.
Required Qualifications:
- CPCS or CPMSM certification through NAMSS (National Association Medical Staff Services) upon hire.
- 5 years of Executive/administrative level work within a medical staff office
- 2 years of Supervisory or lead experience
- 2 years of experience with set up, reporting and data base management tools ASM/MD staff or similar credentialing software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration or Similar Field
